The Church
National Shrine of the Sacred Heart
4 Dao St. San Antonio Village, Makati
City
|
|
We usually attend mass, even BEFORE we got officially
together, at National Shrine of the Sacred Heart in Dao St., Makati City. It's not as big as the other churchers in Manila but
it definitely has one of the most beautiful altars we've seen! And so, on our wedding day, we will also
exchange our marriage vows in this church. As we are really very fond of the usual priest during Sunday
masses, Msgr. Antero A. Sarmiento, P.H., he will then be officiating the wedding ceremony.
The ceremony will start at exactly 3:10pm so we would
encourage that the liturgical and wedding entourage members to please come atleast 30 minutes earlier. Missalettes
will likewise be distributed upon entry of the church.

The Reception
Coconut Palace
CCP Complex, Metro Manila
|
|
Reception will be held at Coconut Palace at around 5:30pm.
That's about 20-30mins drive from the church. So what else can we say with this place? Since ours is a garden reception,
the view of Manila Bay with matching sunset and the summer breeze just really makes it perfect!!! If in any case it rains,
forbid not, reception will be held inside.
Please be reminded that this is a formal reception. We would greatly appreciate if our guests
would wear atleast barong for the gentlemen and cocktail dresses for the ladies. No all-black attires please. Our motif
is red and gold, it would be great if our guests would follow the motif.
We would be very happy if everybody will finish the whole reception program as a fireworks show
will end the night.
